There really are no bad seats, the acoustics are excellent, and the layout is good. Bathrooms are clean and large enough for minimal wait times. Top notch performances. Excellent venue for an elegant evening.

My mom and I are regular symphony goers. I don't think that you can beat the deal of going to the symphony on Sunday afternoon where any seat in the house is great including those that cost only $18. We have gone for two seasons now and it is often the highlight of our month. The variety of conductors are... More

We, along with about six other couples have season tickets to the symphony. We are never disappointed with the excellence we are able to enjoy. We look forward to each new season!

Although the regular season ends at the end of May, visitors Sept-May might enjoy a change of pace after a hike in the mountain preserve or a heavy day of shopping. Be assured this is a first class organization with great community support. Easy to reach on light rail.

We have been to the Phoenix Symphony many many times this last year and we've enjoyed most of the shows we've seen. We went for the family day for Harry Potter. Fun if you have kids under 8, older than that and they will find it a bit rushed and noisy :) We like it better in the evenings, less... More

Opening night of the All Balanchine show by Ballet Arizona was a beautiful performance. Three short excerpts from George Balanchine's most famous ballets were put together as a sampler and tribute to his works. The first and last were numbers which showcased the abilities of the talented dancers. The second act stole the show. La Sonnambula was lively, funny, impressive... More

I lived in Washington DC for 25 years and went to a number of performances at the Kennedy Center. While not as grandiose, I have thoroughly enjoyed every performance at the Phoenix Symphony House. Many of them featuring stars like Donna Summer (she had wonderful andecdotes and a lovely voice), Also Patti Lupone was amazing. All other performances equally enjoyable.... More

Excellent theatre which should be used more often than it is. Excellent acoustics and decent seating. Although on this date which was a showing of "Singing in the Rain" with orchestra accompaniment the air was warm and stuffy until intermission and then it improved although i noticed the lobby was nice and cool and comfortable for some reason. Which helped... More
