We were visiting and decided to head down mid-day on a Sunday. Most things were not open other than a few restaurants. The ice skating looked like fun....but was not open until mid-afternoon. Overall, looks like it could be a neat place to explore....on any other day.

This multipurpose complex attracts with pleasant architecture and interesting way in which it organizes space. Many restaurants undoubtedly are a magnet as well but so is the stand up comedy theater, CVS pharmacy, pleasant fountain so popular with kids. There seem to be apartments / condos, hotel, some limited green space. All that on the way from a few hotels to the convention center. To me City Scape still needs to work on its “soul” but it is a nice area to explore for lunch or dinner.

Validated parking for one hour and I got charged on the way out anyhow. Help desk came up with every excuse not to help. Avoid them if possible.

Visiting Cityscape was a daily occurrence when I worked in downtown Phoenix, and I still go there whenever I'm in town. There are many restaurants from fast food (Chipolte, Five Guys, etc) to upscale (Arrogant Butcher). You'll find something no matter what your taste. And there's Standup Live if you love comedy.

We walked here one night and were surprised to find a splash pad for our son! He would have played for hours had we not made him stop! The perfect place for kids to cool down and run out some energy after dinner downtown!
