This was easily my favorite thing I've seen in the city of Phoenix. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the castle. It's an absolutely beautiful and unique structure of art. The story behind it is beautiful and you can tell how much love was put into the place.…

While the story of the home is amazing, the poor decreased owner would roll over in her grave if she couldd see how poorly the grounds are kept up.. The debris at the entry gate was enough to make us leave. Maybe it is the city's responsibility but when charging $10. Cash someone could have spent time to clean it up.…

The entire experience is very eclectic. I have never seen a hand built castle. The guides were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The decor was extremely interesting and you have to be willing to spend time to appreciate the entire experience and look at each item and picture. I want to say the experience was unique and Ramon was great. But their unwillingness to hold up their own covid rules made me drop it to 1 star. The entrance sign states in big letters that masks are required. Unfortunately they don’t enforce it. A group of us were guided through small rooms. Multiple people where in the group without masks. It felt especially dangerous given how small some of these rooms were. The guides allowed it and did nothing to enforce the rules. Not an eye was bat. Risking others lives for $10 is not cool.…
