I spent 3 hours and could have spent the whole day at this Botanical Garden. At first, I balked at the price, $29, for admission, asking if they had a military or senior discount but then just decided to go in and so glad I meandered the paths and areas... what a hidden gem! Make sure you give this at least two hours....minimum. The website says the second Tuesday of the month is free and there is reduced cost for children and families... check it out! Bonus is there is a wonderful restaurant with lots of outdoor seating, some of it in the shade to relax and enjoy the beauty. Been to many gardens across the US and this is the best desert garden I have ever visited... worth the price of admission.…

We spent about 2 1/2 hours there plus some time in the gift shop but I would plan for at least 3 if I get the opportunity to go back again. (We had to leave to pick someone up from the airport which is close by). If you are going here for the first time - bring a tote bag with a bottle of water, shoes you don't care about (as some of the ground is dirt and/or water), and sunglasses and/or hat. I hope. you enjoy it as much as we did.…
