Stopped by on our way east through Arizona. Last visit was 23 years ago. Worth a stop. A tad bit pricey, but if you can get past that, go for it. Cave is a dry cave, and not many formations. Tour was very good though. And our guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Recommended.

My kids and I stopped in for a visit. Our tour guide Lawrence did a great job narrating the tour. Considered going back for the Ghost tour, but time just didn't permit in our schedule. Would recommend this place to anyone!

We had the one night stay in the cavern suite package, which came with a choice of private tours, & the choice to have dinner at the ground level diner or have it brought to the cavern suite. We had dinner in the cavern suite & it added to the whole experience. The food was good but we did expect... More

Just off the old and original Historic Route 66, between Peach Springs and Seligman, you can find the Grand Canyon Caverns - if you pull over to the Grand Canyon Caverns Hotel, look over at the not-so-well maintained miniature golf course with a fascinating life-sized fake dinosaur collection for the kids to admire, and have the desk clerk explain how... I'm mainly concerned about the outside upkeep. It's dangerous in a few areas. The cave tour is as it has always been, ok. *There is a firetruck that kids climb on, it has rusted nuts, wires and sharp edges. Please be careful. *Near the play area, there was a junk jet-ski with the foot pads full of dirty water. *A... More

Hwy 66 is a historic road that has a history of attractions that were bypassed when the modern highway system was developed. This one is another one of those. The caverns are not the best example of a cave maybe, but it is a piece of history. The current owner bought it 14 years ago. Everything is basically the same... More

We went to the Grand Canyon Caverns today and took the regular tour. Bruce had been to other caverns before but I never have. These are huge dry caverns underground and as our great guide David explained, the air takes 2 1/2 weeks to get in and out from all the way near the Grand Canyon! The caverns aren't exactly... More

Definitely not the best caverns I've visited but impressive nonetheless. It's one of the biggest dry caverns in the world and that in itself is worth the price of admission. The sloth and the mummified bobcat are nice for the kids, the supplies for shelter in case of a nuclear event food for thought for the adults and the room... More

It was our first visit to the caverns. My daughter has always been interested in rocks and she really enjoyed herself. She talked the poor guide's ear off! 101 questions. It was a neat visit....and there's even a hotel room you can stay in at the bottom of the caverns. I don't know if I'd brave it but it was... More
