The awesome place! My number one destination for Arizona getaway! Swim, Kayaks, fishing, paddle boarding, camping you name it! Shop owner is the rock!

Well worth the drive (which is very scenic itself). The lake is off the beaten path but if you get that chance make it a destination. If you like camping then this would be a fantastic place to do it. There is a small store and lots of quiet and scenery.

Stopped here on a whim - so glad we did! The lake and surrounding area were absolutely beautiful! The lake is beautiful and popular with locals, but out of the way for most tourists. That makes it even better to get some relaxation without having EVERYBODY around you. It's not a 'close' lake...prepare to drive, and be prepared to pack... More

They have been working on roads outside the park but the rest of the roads in suck. Don't take a trailer longer than 28' as the roads have blind switchbacks and some drivers aren't nice. Plan to dry camp.

Just a one and a half to two hour drive south from Tucson via highway 83 and south through Sonoita, AZ, Parker canyon offers welcome respite from the desert heat in the summer. As you near Sonoita and south, keep your eyes peeled for Pronghorn antelope. During the winter, one often sees Bald Eagles or Peregrine Falcons, although I have... More

Nice place to be around water which is pretty rear here. Also the rental place got ONE paddle board! Which was a pure lack for me, it pretty much made my day! I believe they will improve this type of water activity. This is perfect place for SUP! Aloha!

This United States Forest Service site is very well developed and maintained. There is plenty of paved parking, clean bathrooms, and a beautiful hiking trail all the way around the lake.

TA has this listed as Patagonia, but the lake address is actually Elgin, AZ. This is a great little lake. My wife and I camp here often, and always have a great time. Cell phones barely get a signal here, which is what we look for when we need an escape. The campgrounds are clean, have bathrooms, and potable water... More

We have driven up to PCL two times before, but this time during the week, me and my wife decided to do a day trip. Have a picnic, maybe some swimming, rent a boat. The problem was there website, does not reflect there hours and days of operation .As we looked at the website, last thursday it should of been... More

We visited this place and arrived later than we wanted to (around 3pm) on a Friday and it was very quiet. My girlfriend was very sad when we got there because we could only stay a few hours. She fell in love with the area. The camping looked beautiful and the groups were so nice with the little trees. We... More
