This is definitely worth the bumpy ride to get there. You don't need 4 wheel drive unless it is really wet. This is a very rough road though. Kind of a world class Bar experience.... great junk food and Ice cold beer... hard to beat....More

This is really a great place to check out. Food was excellent, great view and history. The best way up would be a razor or 4 wheeler. I would not want to take a car up there.

The Nellie E is less than 5 miles from Route 95 on a dusty rough road negotiable by most cars & trucks. The day was nice. We arrived about noon just at opening and only had 3 people ahead of us on line at the...More

It does not take a four wheeler to drive the five miles of desert trail to enjoy this out of the desert oasis. Only open on weekends during the winter (from noon to six), this saloon features cold beer, bar food and live bands. Bring...More

The road alone is an experience. Interesting drive, make sure you take it easy, have an off road vehicle, or good suspension. Did see some sports cars up there, though!! Once there, it's a place that have people from all over checking out the band,...More

This is a cool destination for anyone who wants to go off road, see a good band and enjoy the desert surroundings. I saw all age groups there sharing their love of a unique entertainment venue. If you prefer a strictly vapid, glitzy millennial crowd...More

I was very concerned about driving to this out in the desert bar after reading some of the reviews about the road in and out. Yes it is bumpy but take your time and you will be fine. My speed in a Honda Civic was...More

About 5 miles down Cienega Springs Road is the Desert Bar. A must on your Bucket List. We went 17 years ago and then again last week and what a difference. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is the road....More

They are not exaggerating when they tell you how remote this place is. The drive is on dirt/rock and with huge potholes and divots. The route was beautiful, but you do have to put up with some drivers going both 1-2 miles an hour and...More

Or, if you have a camper or if tenting is an option, Buckskin Mountain State Park is just 5 miles north on Hignway 95

Take highway 95 north out of Parker, then turn right onto Cienega Springs Rd. It's about 4/5 miles from there. Rough road and it's a slow go. Very unusual bar - great fun, live music.
