This was an experiment to see how a colony would survive. Largest living research center. Has rainforest, ocean, desert. Lots of walking but well worth it. No reservations needed. No pets

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this unique place. Our tour guides were absolutely wonderful, so we learned quite a bit. What a place! Definitely worth a stop.

This visit opens doors into the discovery of our big wide world and its many wonders. The most interesting details provided by our knowledgable guide were about the lung and its operation during the historic closed environment, the early days of Biosphere 2. Thank-you to...More

We went on the general tour, after a look around the gift shop and exhibits in the lobby. Originally, the goal was to have a group of people live in the enclosed space, and they did that for a couple of years. Now there are...More

We ended up with beautiful weather for a tour of B2. If it was hotter I don't think it would have been as perfect. The tour itself was fascinating! Put tour guide Taylor was very knowledgeable and funny. You are givrn a listening device at...More

We did not know what to expect and saw there were some really high priced tours. We decided just the $20 tour would be what we would do. This along with the walk around the complex and going down below the ocean were plenty. Unless...More

An amazing exhibit for both it's historical use and it's modern research. The tour guides give a great tour. The grounds and the views from the grounds are worth the trip alone.

Really enjoyed our afternoon at the Biosphere 2 but did find it a bit expensive. Like many attractions once you arrive you are offered tours that increase the cost over just the standard admission. We signed up for two of them-the history tour and the...More
