If you’re willing to fight the crowds at this flea market in a shed, you may find some interesting Samoan handicrafts or mats, and you can even watch works-in-progress.

In a shed, all the stalls sell exactly the same wares, jewellery and clothes. How do they ever all survive??? It is cramped, hot and I would suggest if you want to buy kitch go early or late in the day to avoid the heat.

A Market is a market no matter where you go. Full of the usual vibe and goodies. Still a good place to purchase those souvenirs. One thing is the fabrics used are of good quality. Prices are fair.

Local product not selling any other store, you only able to buy here. Local supermarket only sell imported product. If you are going to try local food or buy some souvenir, here is the place :)

All of the locals bring their produce and prepared food here to sell. If you want good, real Samoan food, this is the place to go. Fresh coconuts, papaya, taro chips, bananas, and everything else. We ate at the market for most of our meals...More

Buy here because there is nothing else anywhere. Markets on Savai'i have nothing so grab your stuff here

Very interesting but cool experience! Most of the stalls have similar items, a great place to buy souvenirs and gifts as well as beautiful dresses. The one I got is one size fits all so no need to try it on before buying. Friendly people...More

All the same things in all the other stalls and all the same price. There isn't anything special here. I was intending to purchase necklaces for my sons class, at $10 and 20 class members, that can stay there. I doubt if they're actually made...More

The lovely locals at the markets are so friendly (as Samoans are) but the products are pretty much the same and mostly overpriced. But it is nice to know that you are buying from people who appreciate your business and support.

Yes, the market has been rebuilt completely and is much cleaner and airier. Hope you enjoy it!
