The train takes you into Tierra del Fuego and costs around 1000 pesos which is unbelievably expensive. You don’t see any more than you would driving in so it’s essentially a very expensive train ride you’d only do for the ‘end of the world’ sell.More

The End of the World Narrow Gauge Steam Railway, originally built by the inmate of the penal colony in Ushuaia, is a historic and fun little ride. I love trains and especially historic ones. This is a must do, if you are ever in Ushuaia!

So expensive... 850 Argentinian pesos for a 7 km ride!!! This end of the world train is run by the same coach company rumbosur.... are tourists pigeons ????

I already mentioned the name of the company, The End of the World Train (Tren del fin del mundo) and no, I don't recommend taking the bus back to the station. Unless you are in a hurry, sit back, relax and enjoy the view!
