While walking south down the main shopping street, we decided to go into this church. It is very recognizable with the bright yellow color. It is a simple yet pretty church. We were the only ones in the church at that time.

......this is the place for you to worship. Same shade of yellow both inside and out. Really a delightful place. Nice stained glass. Certainly worth the time for a short visit.

This is a cute small Catholic Church at the southernmost tip of the world. This church complex has a chapel, girls Catholic school, bookstore and gift shop. Inside the bright yellow chapel you'll find a simple decor. Worth a quick stop to visit while shopping in town. BOTTOM LINE: We wanted to see some items in their gift store but it was closed. The priest in the church was very helpful and opened up the store for us so we could purchase some nativity's they were offered in their street windows. He spoke no English but we could understand each other through charade hand motions. He was very friendly. MY RATING:…

On our Antarctica cruise this town was our first port of call. We walked around the downtown area and came across this sweet church. It was open which was refreshing. It is quite simple with pale yellow walls and a lovely altar in a nave situation. Great place to reflect on this extreme location and the people that live and worship here.…
