A prominent building right behind the main city pier. This is the mansion of the Governor of the province. Good for a photo, along has information on Evita Peron.

Wow- both museums others are talking about (this and End of the World) were free entry when I visited (January 2018). This is a very small museum, as is the other one. Not much there really just some old furniture and some histoyr of Ushuaia. I'm glad I didn't pay to go in. The garden next door is quite lovely with flowering poppies.…

Had to pay for the entry for this museum which only had 2 rooms. Very disappointing plus no evplanations in English, only Spanish. No concessions for European pensioners!!
