Must see!!

This is a trip and a landscape you'll never forget. Located 50km south of Bariloche. You DO NOT NEED to buy a tour, just to have a car to get there and pay the National Park fee right at the beginning of the road that will take you to River Manso, some camping and beach spots and to the waterfall itself! Amazing, as words can't describe.

Worth the drive, and the view is out of this world

Please, Please visit this waterfall. There are not enough words to describe how amazing it was. The magnitude of this waterfall is unlike anything I had seen before. Most of the drive is on a paved road until to get to the park (80 pesos entrance) and then 45min to the waterfall. From Bariloche, it takes about 1.5hrs to get there. Before your travels, check the hours you are allowed to go in and leave the park, as there are restrictions. We got there are 12 and were told we couldn't visit the waterfall until 2pm. We were told the only option was to visit Tronador and wait to visit Alerces until later in the day. We found a great hiking trail instead (next to the camping grounds at km 19). From the parking lot you can hear the strength of the water flow but when you see it, it will surprise you amaze you. You will not regret this trip!!!
