A very quaint spot in the city, it has a nice natural / historical museum and the turism office, where you can get good info from the kind staff.

This part of Bariloche town centre tends to attract a lot of street performers and has a nice vibe to it.

Arrogant recepcion since i am in the wheelchair and the place is not wheelchair conform. Even though he wanted the entry money . As i refused to pay an inaccessible place he changed his mind and sayd it s free. In Argentina have handicapped free entry in most museums and national parks it seems not be possible in Bariloche !... More

Easy to see by just driving or walking through. Nothing of special interest in springtime (maybe different in winter)?Didn't even see a St Bernard!

Centre of a lovely tourist area/ski resort region. The statue of the general on the horse is particularly interesting as it commemorates the genocide of the local indigenous peoples (the Mapuche). As such, there is interesting graffiti and political protests. Great to see symbols of repression reclaimed by the people!

This is in the center of the city of Bariloche. It is very charming and many people come here to take photos. It is one of those places that are a must if one is here. Many people take photos in this place.

The town square is beside the lake and at the beginning of the shopping and restaurant area. The buildings are made out if stone and wood logs. There Is a small museum in one corner and just outside the local artisans have their stands.

Centro Civico is the perfect excuse to simply hang around and immerse yourself in the first point of contact with locals, the Nahuel Huapi majestic view and stunning sunsets. Cute little buildings, busy streets and a wonderful spot for photos or drawing.

Museo de la Patagonia "Francisco P. Moreno" is located in this Square and is well worth a visit. It is a small museum featuring exhibits on the region's flora, fauna and indigenous cultures, and on the much revered explorer Moreno. It was a highlight for me.
