Nice to see while you drive around, but there are no artistic or historical reasons to spare vacation time to visit it. The view of course is nice, since it is by the lake...but that is about it....

Lovely Cathedral adjacent to the water and lose to the city centre. One of the most beautiful piece of architecture in Bariloche. Makes for some lovely pics and an easy walk from the town centre.

We managed to get in for a few minutes after a service. It was locked up shortly after. The stained glass windows were quite nice. This is a fairly recent building, finished in 1946. Well worth a visit as it is a bit different architecturally.

The catedral is modern with a feeling that it wasn't quite completed. I loved the stonework and the design. I would say that if you are in the city it is worth a visit but I would not make a trip just to see the catedral.

The catedral is not old by cathedral standards, and has had substantial repair work done. The decoration inside is impressive, and it is well situated with a clear view of Nahuel Haupi lake ... and exposure to the prevailing wind.

The Catedral de San Carlos de Bariloche is a very impressive one. They have beautiful art work all around the inside and the outside structure looks very nice. I do think however that the ceilings leave much to be desired.

Free, easy to walk through and worth a visit. The stained glass and high ceilings are great. Looks like there might be a calendar for sale. Definitely check it out!

This beautiful church dominates Bariloche's skyline when viewed from the lake and is just as pretty up-close. Even if you are not religious, you may wish to enter the church to experience its tranquility or just admire the architecture. Of particular note is that the Catholic churches in many South American countries also display national flags (see picture) which I... More

We just walked through one day and it was beautiful. The stone work is beautiful and compliments the amazing views of the lake and mountains from its steps. Definitely worth a quick visit!

This is the main church in Bariloche and is really nice. Worth stopping by and wandering around the park that surrounds the church. Its also right next to the lake and would definitely advise taking some photos of the church.
