Circuito Chico is not a destination per se - it's a road through the beautiful hills west/southwest of Bariloche. You should make at the minimum the following stops: - Cerro Campanario, take the chair lift up or do an easy hike up - the vista from there blew us away and will forever remain one of our favorite memories -... My partner and I decided to hire some bikes and ride around the Circuito Chico and the views and scenery were beautiful, so many little spots along the way to stop and take photos. The ride was pretty hard though - very hilly! I am relatively fit and ride semi-regularly and I was exhausted by the end, so just take... More

This is a great drive if you don't want to be in the car all day. There are lots of spots to stop and go on hikes or just take pics of the beautiful scenery.

This is an amazing way to see a lot of beautiful nature on a bike. We have rented bikes from Cordillera Bike Rental (you can get there with bus 20 from Bariloche). 350 pesos per bike. Slightly cheaper than Circuito Chico Bike Rental and great service! The track goes up and down a lot and some climbs are hard. But... More

Easily done in half day or less, Circuito Chico lets you appreciate the beauty of the lakes surrounding Bariloche. The views from Llao Llao hotel are impressive, but the best viewpoint is Punto Panorámico (there's also a restaurant with the same name just before the viewpoint, but ignore that one).

It's apparently one of the must-do's in Bariloche. Indeed the first viewpoint Cerro Campanario is spectacular, a 360 degree view over the lake region. The rest of the tour was disappointing though. Visiting the rose farm was more a tourist trap where they try to sell you oils, creams etc. The famous Llao Llao hotel you'll only see from the... More

There are amazing views around every corner on this drive, also plenty of places to eat, drink and hike. We also did the Ruta de los Siete Lagos while in the area, but I really thought the Circuito Chico had some of the most beautiful scenery.

After a quick hike up Cerro Campanario we decided to rent bikes for a tour around Circuito Chico! If you have a few extra hours and are in the area I would definitely recommend. We enjoyed great scenery and a picnic lunch on a quiet beach. The route is relatively quiet (not much vehicle traffic) for the most part, but... More
