This experience is unforgetable. The service is excellent and very well organized. There is a bar and you can buy souveniers on board. The views are breathtaking. Local people sell their goods at very good prices. The place is very windy. The flag ceremony is moving. Proud to be Argentinean :)

The train is best for rail enthusiasts. Otherwise, it's too much bus time. For me, I loved the long bus ride as much as the train. Geology on display, rather like Utah+Colorado+Arizona. Yes, the trip is expensive, but the guide and experience was worth it with just one exception: What they call "breakfast" is dreadful, as other reviewers have noted.... More

but it was notb worthwhile to visit. The way until the ruines of Santa Rosa was very good and interesting, but the way from there via San Antonio de los cobres was boring. And at the end - just the Bridge

You can see a lot in one day. Really effective, still comfortable and great staff. Save ride. Wonderful landscapes, great food.

Long trip, great people, excellent guide, lousy food. Really took almost 12 hours and 2-3 hours were on unpaved roads.

My husband and I went with another couple who were from Argentina(booked through Say Hueque in Buenos Aires) on a 2 day trip from Salta to Purmamarca. Although we had never met them it was a very pleasant experience traveling this day with them. We had a driver (and so glad we did) who took us to the Tastil Ruins... More

It was a long day, starting at 6:20am and arriving at the hotel after 10pm, but totally worth it. Amazing job of Julio, our guide for the day. The colours of punamarca and the landscape of salinas grandes are the highlights of our trip to argentina. Thanks guys for a great day.

Movitrack provides an ideal way of visiting the Quebrada del Toro, altiplano and Salinas grandes. Everything is very well organised, and includes breakfast, lunch, drinks and the occasional surprise. In addition, the guide was very good, providing detailed commentary in both English and Spanish.
