Nice Local Vibe and Food
Jan 2020 • Couples
A nice place in Puerto Iguazu to see where the locals hangout in the evening and have their dinner. And also if you don't particular fancy a pricy restaurant. We ordered some beef steak with chips, salad, bread and rice for 2 people, as well as 1 litre of beer for a total of 900 pesos.
There are several options and restaurants to choose from along the street.
Just don't mind the stray dogs or the kids trying to sell you stuff.

Trip to Iguazu
Dec 2019
Feirinha is simple and not very big. You can buy olives, olive oil, alfajor and it´s very cheap! I ate empanadas at Barraca da Miriam which I recommend very much. The empanadas were great!

Not too big
Dec 2019 • Couples
Some stands offering wine, olives, olive oil and alfajores. The prices are fair. There are some simple places to have some food (meat and empanadas) and drinks. Advice: don’t take pesos, take reais or dollars.

Olives and wine and more olives
May 2019 • Solo
The only reason to visit the market is to purchase olives, salami and/or wine. A wide variety of olives but my main critique is that although the olives are "real" the oil is not sure olive oil. The selection of salamis and cured meats are adequate but not worth a special trip and the same goes for the wines. There are interesting restaurants in the market where one can either order a selection of grilled meats or a tasting platter of salami, olives and cheese to go with whatever you are drinking. It is interesting to spend a bit of time but no loss if you miss the experience

Kill an hour

This is a busy market for food stuff . Great if your local , but not too much that would easily travel internationally . No bartering. More like an outdoor supermarket . The quality of the produce is good and the atmosphere is vibrant .

Cheap and tipical Place to eat
Jul 2018 • Couples
Great, Little market in Pietro Iguazu where you can buy goods like olives, alfajores, dulce de leche, wine.. And also eat something cheap and tipical like meat and chips with a fresh beer, surrounded by locals and Brazilian people.

Fun for evening drinks and snacks
Mar 2018 • Solo
This market has mostly delicatessen-type stalls all selling the same things but at about 4pm, many of them open streetside bars selling cheap drinks (like $70 for a litre of beer), picadas (snacks like olives, cheese, salami), empanadas and some do grills. Some stalls are more Brazilian than Argentine. Very little English spoken but a fun place to watch the people go by or get a cheap dinner.

So, this place is suprising. There are many options to buy a good wines from Mendoza, cheese, olive with stuffed, Milk candy, alfajor, etc. The prices are very good. I Recommend to go to Sonia Bar: good portion, Quilmes Beer \0/

As if in a Brazilian Naples
Mar 2017 • Friends
Here you can try a typical "picada" with beer at dusk.
During the day it works as a group of shops selling cheeses and cold meats, but after sundown tables and chairs are distributed in sidewalks and those shops become street bars (I went at a warm summer night with my wife)

BEWARE! It's not a typical argentinian place: it's a mix between an Argentine dish, Brazilian rhythms with an Italian or a Mexican atmosphere.

Don't go if...
1. ... you want to drink something other than a beer or a red wine
2. ... you want to eat something other than salami, cheese, ham and olives with some bread (you must google "picada argentina" and choose IMAGES)
3. ... you don't like Naples or Mexican bars
4. ... you don't like street musicians singing for a tip
5. ... you like air conditioning

Enjoy

Everyone selling the same stuff....
Jan 2017 • Family
Nice salami, cheese etc but everyone is selling pretty much the same stuff. Ask for prices though as they do vary and most places let you taste the products before buying them.
