My wife and I came here on our guides recommendation. We arrived "early" at 8.15 and no one else had entered so we took our wine glasses and strolled the grounds. We had Sabina as our waitress and she was super and looks like J Lo per my wife. Maria assisted as did Soledad as we had the three choose... More

Given things were closed not sure we could have done better given the proximity of the Bodegas to downtown Mendoza. The tour itself was average and the young woman very helpful in the information she had.  The groups were, aside from ourselves, primarily non- Spanish speaking but the Guide was helpful in responding to our Spanish questions in Spanish. The... More

The restaurant Abrasado located in an old winery perfect for our group to enjoy an excellent meal with wine pairings to match= I ordered the "chorizo" which turned out to be a beautifully done cut paired with an excellent malbec portions very large but irrestible.the steaks are aged in the old traditional manner with perfect texture and flavor. Service spot... More

My friends and I visited Toneles on a winery tour. The guides were the most informed and interesting of the tours we attended that day. Would be an incredible venue for a wedding or event. If you purchase a bottle of wine, they have bubble wrap sleeves for you to transport the wine back home.

I loved the food at the restaurant in its 6 course degustation. The malbec risotto was the first red-wine risotto I've ever had and it was incredible. The onion soup with parmesan tulle and lime sponge cake was magnificent. The steak was good, the dessert was tasty and the paired wines a perfect accompaniment. This is up there in my... More

What a serendipitous adventure, to stumble upon a Google recommendation for Bodega Los Toneles, we discovered a 6 course lunch with paired wines for 700 Pesos (approx 70 AUD) which includes some amazing sparkling chardonnay and a malbec to die for! We continued onto wine tasting in the winery and sampled another Malbec which exceeded all expectations. Needless to say,... More

Upon arrival, I was impressed by the facility of Los Toneles. Everything has a clean, sleak look without compromising the long history of the winery. I came to Los Toneles on a wine tour with about 20 people. We had two tour groups: English speakers and Spanish speakers. The majority of the people spoke Spanish, so I was in a... More
