We were based in Mendoza and went on an organised tour that took us to Villavicencio, Uspallata and finally to Parque Provincial Aconcagua. The ascent to the park was magnificent, with all the intact nature and llamas running around freely. Once we were up there...More

Unless you are going in the winter to enjoy the snow there's really nothing there. It looks like a desert with a mountain peak in the background - and we went the end of winter just before spring.

Located 200 km from Mendoza, at 3000 meters altitude is the Aconcagua Park, from where you can see the highest peak in the Americas. The desert view in contrast to the eternal snows is very beautiful! It's worth the trip!

The highest mountain in the hemisphere! The view is spectacular. So very different to the Mendoza surrounding.

The views are unique and imponent. It's nature and mountains in full splendour. The peaks, the wilderness, the rocks and the deep blue sky were literally a breath-taking experience. It's a must-do.

The Aconcagua Provincial Park is magic, a real must. If you go to Mendoza hire a driver, visit " Puente del Inca" and the Aconcagua Park, you won't regret it. These places are quite high up, so be aware that some altitude sickness may occur.

It's an easy hike, but a long ride! Not much else to do out there that would be entertaining for a toddler.
