In 2007, my wife and I visited Domaine St Diego and like most others were most impressed with both the site and terroir of the place. The family were most hospitable, knowledgeable and eager to impart information to their guests. about their mission, "to make great wine." We tasted, enjoyed, and even though we were from Australia and the logistics... More

Don't miss this place! It is run by a family that is hands on and brings their experience to life through the tour guide, Laura. It is very small so it gives you an entirely different feel than the larger wineries. Very intimate and personal. The tasting is wonderful with the added bonus of their olive oil. The wines are... We started our wine tour of Maipu here and it was the best we visited. Knowledgeable and friendly. Run entirely by the family father, mother, brothers and sister. Magical.

This is a very small vineyard/bodega that sells what it produces only at the winery. The owner is the former winemaker from Trapiche with over 20 years of experience. His very knowledgeable daughter gave three of us a personal tour and explained so much about how the grapes are pruned and the soils they grow in, what the various cycles... More

My boyfriend and I loved our tour of this winery. Laura gave us a great personalized tour. She was waiting for us at the gate and she took us all over her vineyard, explaining the process of growing grapes, even though it was a cold day. She clearly knows her stuff and was able to answer all our questions. The... More

Don't miss out on this small, family owned gem. If you like small, boutique wineries, this is a must stop while in Mendoza. We visited 14 wineries while in Mendoza and this was our #2 favorite. The tour is very interesting and educational, the owner's daughter is so personable and friendly. She arranged a fantastic tasting for us and we... More

Laura, the owner's daughter, gave us a fantastic tour of the vineyard, which is quite small and makes amazing wines. Seeing as they only sell their wines on-site, we were very excited to try them and bring some home. She teaches about the method of growing the grapes and Mendoza's climate and how winegrowers manage to deal the difficulties. Besides... More

We were in Mendoza for 6 days and this was undoubtedly one of the hire highlights of our trip. You could feel the passion for the wine making process coming from the moment you were welcomed at the gate by Laura. Everything was picture perfect. It was hard to even consider leaving without trying to buy the whole vineyard. Everything... More

By far the best vineyard we visited in the Mendoza region, with an excellent personal tour by the owners daughter. Very informative and amusing tour in a charming setting, where I learned much about grapes, the harvest and how to produce excellent wine. Far better than the larger vineyards which are more industrial. Their wines can only be purchased on... More
