Interesting place to visit if you are into art, architecture and urban planning. Locals make fun of them as “hippie nut jobs” but I found everyone to be very pleasant and nice, our tour guide was wonderful (she lives there) and gave a great tour....More

We didn't take the tour. So we couldn't see too much of the buildings. But what we saw was quite interesting. Take the time to read the timeline/history in the stairwell and you'll learn a lot about the vision for the community. You can stay...More

Visiting Arcosanti is like going back to the future. It's like an unfulfilled dream where you wake up too early. So much to like, so little to feel confident about. Soleri was a visionary who did not understand the necessity of marketing. His proposed city...More

I read many reviews of Arcosanti before visiting, many of which set my expectations on the low side. What a pleasant surprise! First, you MUST take the tour. We had an excellent tour guide (a former city planner for the City of Albuquerque) and were...More
