We had a fantastic day with Fer! We read his reviews on Tripadvisor and they were spot on! We booked him a few days in advance and took the easy hour long train from Retiro to Tigre and walked five blocks to his stand. He warmly greeted us and spent the whole day trying to accommodate to our needs and... More

Highly recommended. Fer was very reliable in responding to e-mail communications, and the tours on offer were flexible enough to meet our requirements. Finding Fer's stand is easy: just go to the train platform at Delta station (although he's moving his kiosk to Tigre station soon). Our guide, the enthusiastic Tommy, was a delight to meet. He looked after us... More

We arrived in El Tigre to walk around and explore. It was the day after Christmas and the market and some of the other businesses we closed. Our first thought was: "what will we do all day?!" It wasn't long after that we meant Fernando. We had already wanted to go on a boat but figured we would take public... More

This trip is a must if you visit Buenos Aries. The Tigre Delta is stunningly beautiful and Fernando is the person to take you round it in his Zodiac dinghy. His passion for the delta, its plants and its wildlife is wholly infectious and he is well informed and extremely entertaining. I felt I wanted to stay there forever....

This way is the best way to see and learn about the delta. It is not just a boat ride. Tommy , our guide ,not only explained us how the delta works, the stories behind , he also gave us a large abstract to the historical side . A wonderful day experience.

We met Fernando close to the Tigre station and he introduced us to Tommy, who was going to be our tour guide that day. Tommy was phenomenal on the river, taking us down side canals and telling us all about the area. We stopped for empanadas and cervezas, saw a breathtaking view of Buenos Aires from the river, and ended... More

It was a cold and gloomy day so Fernando actually arranged for the 4 of us to go on his friend Sergio's boat which was larger. Since we spoke no Spanish, and Sergio spoke no English, Fernando played tour guide. What a great guide! We stopped for a meal at a family restaurant. Amazing time.

Don't book one of those big impersonal tigre cruises - a safari delta day with Fernando is the only way to go! Fer met us at the station and we headed straight to his zodiac for an incredible day. We got to visit all the smaller rivers and hidden places that bigger tours can't go on, ate at the best... More

After meeting Fernando at the train station, we had an outstanding day on the river with our guide Tommy. We had 3 young kids at 5, 5 and 3 who had a blast on the small but safe boat. They had proper life jackets for small kids which made things much easier. Because the smaller boat size (zodiac RIB ~14... More
