Small-Group City Tour of Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires’ neighborhoods each have a distinctive character from the historic barrios of San Telmo and La Boca, to the beautiful parks and plazas of Palermo and Recoleta, and the modern skyscrapers of Puerto Madero. This small-group tour is ideal for first-time visitors or those short on time, visiting all of the top attractions in just half a day.

Buenos Aires unfortunately doesn't have many green spaces, but in Recoleta, this is the place to go. Located between Palermo and Recoleta, you can run, play football or workout. Nice for some disconnecting time.

Traveling abroad should include learning about other people. La Heras is an area park where local families come to relax. Couples with their children pack the carousel. Babies are paraded in strollers by new parents proudly displaying their new addition to the family. Young couples lay on the grass. Too many people sit on benches looking at smart phones. It's a great insight into Buenos Aires. People are the same all over, and that's wonderful.

This is a lovely place for an afternoon stroll, and the park had so many different areas to explore. There were all sorts of soccer games being played, there were little playground areas (a bit young for my kids - 8 and 10 - though), and of course the carousel at the entrance.
