El Ombu de Areco Estancia is a traditional ranch located in San Antonio de Areco, at the heart of gaucho (cowboy) country and an easy drive from Buenos Aires. On this tour, spend an entire day at the estancia, with activities including horseback riding, a traditional ‘asado’ barbecue lunch, and a thrilling gaucho show.

It's an Instagram selfie heart maker! Great to see a different part of the city. You fell momentarily transported to Japan as you walk the gardens. They have a great sushi and seafood restaurant in the premises with very modest pricing. If you visit while on a festival for shintoism or japanese holiday expect an amazing show of music and ceremonies. It's very safe, peacefulness ambiance while on the heart of palermo. A must stop in BA

Visted in March 2020 on a sunny day so it was lovely being in this garden with its shady trees and tranquil atmosphere. The large goldfish in the ponds are amazingly friendly - they practically pose for a photo! Also had lunch in the restaurant which was average but we still enjoyed it. They also have a small display of Japanese items upstairs from the restaurant.

Spent about 40 minutes here admiring the gardens and well manicured areas. Price was $3 USD per person. The gardens are open 10-6. It is part of Parque 3 de Enero. It is basically a one-way walk through. Would suggest to go to the information center first and walk up to the second floor balcony for panoramic views. After that, follow the path from right to left in a circular fashion.

We visited here right when it opened one day and it was a really beautiful area. The gardens are immaculate and it is such a peaceful place to walk around right in the middle of the city. There are paved paths, wooden bridges and water features all with a calming influence. There is also a restaurant but we didn't go inside as we had limited time. Definitely worth the time to visit.

If you take the open top bus, then the Palermo area is a must place to stop. There are lots of shops, bars and restaurants as well as a number of small parks. The Jardin Japones is well worth visiting, ponds with carp, Japanese trees and a peaceful feeling throughout.
