Premium Tigre Delta and San Isidro Tour from Buenos Aires

93 reviews
Swap the busy streets of Buenos Aires for the waterways of the Tigre River Delta on a day trip that’s ideal for first-time visitors. You’ll see a more provincial side of the region as you explore the cobbled streets of San Isidro. Plus, you'll escape the crowds on land during a canal cruise on the delta.

what a great discovery for us. The Museo displays contemporary works in a calming space. We enjoyed the café and being able to sit outside under the trees in the grassy courtyard. Cakes are homemade and the lemonade delicious. Nice gallery store. Across the street from the Rose Garden in popular Parque 9 Febrero its a welcome respite. Free entry

I really enjoyed the art of Eduardo Sivori. It’s a rather small museo with two primary galary. One for Sivori and the other for an exhibition. The garden is small but very quiet. We didn’t use the cafe but it had a number of groups using it.

Modern art museum in the Palermo park system to the north east of the ornamental boating large lake and ornamental gardens. The park police are bit keen here and I got told off for sitting oh a tree stump! Anyway, I saw the Salón de Artes Plásticas Manuel Belgrano 2016 exhibition here - it was really good and a great mix of figurative/abstract/portrait/mixed media etc. See the website for what's on - I don't think that there is a permanent display of the collection - but if this was anything to judge by, I'd have thought it well worth a visit. 5* is for the place, outdoor garden cafe and the exhibition. Free on Weds, free for oldies and kiddies - or 30 pesos if the worst happens! You can afford it!
