We went last week and it was well worth it! We didn't do any of the packages, just bought the tickets at the box office the day before. They were great value and we ended up sat right down the front. The show was great, very polished and professional, though you might lose track of the story a bit if... More

This was our second tango show on our trip and was very different from our first one. I enjoyed both for different reasons. This reminded me of a full on Broadway production! It was so beautiful and non-stop, never a lull or dull moment. We opted to not do the dinner so my review is just of the show. The... More

I paid $120 per person. We were never offered a tango lesson in our package. Too bad, it would have been fun. The show was terrific. The dancers and singers seemed to really put their souls into it. I'm an accordionist (amateur), and naturally enjoyed the focus on the accordion and the complex scoring. The food was mediocre given the... More

We bought tickets for the show, but not for the dinner or the drinks, largely as a result of having read the TA reviews. Like the others who wrote a review noting that they had been given good seats, we were also. Enjoyed the dancing. Several of the dancers were very skilled; all were capable. Likewise, enjoyed the musicians -... More

The location is good right near the obelisk. Even though we booked show only tickets we got good seats with a good view, it wasn't very busy. The show was well stage managed and the set was good. The dancing parts of the show were enjoyable but there was too much singing which got a bit tedious. The show only... More

Walk to the box office or book the show only option online. Had a great table in the Art Deco theater near the stage for 450 argentinian pesos (about $28 USD). The 90 minute show was nonstop. The dancers, singers and musicians-including accordions, violins, bass, and piano were great.

The show was really great. It was a great introduction to Tango, but musicians were absolutely outstanding! Violins, accordions, a piano and a bass, I'm sorry if I'm missing an instrument, but my husband and I were blown away by the musicality! However, service was slow, and you had to flag down your server to order more drinks, etc...

Do not go to this show. The service is horrible, they do not bring you the package you bought and the pick up did not work! The show of 60 minutes is totally overpriced!A travelguide would call it a tourist trap... Spend the money for a different show!

Watching a tango show is a must to experience the Argentinian culture. Tango Porteno is one great venue to see a good tango show which you would remember for a long time. Great dancers and performance. The ticket (without dinner) includes a glass of wine and 2 empanadas.

As a person who have a solo image of woman and man holding hands together when it comes to tango, I thought this offers a good chance to appreciate the music and dance. It lasts about an hour ( if you take a dinner + tango, it takes 2hours more) with combination of different dance and orchestra music stages -... More
