There were probably rattlesnakes too, but we didn't see (hear) any. When we were dropped off at the course at 5:30 AM for our 6AM tee time, there were deer in the parking lot. A... read more

Absolutely beautiful setting in the desert. I wasn't too impressed with the course layout as it requires some tricky shots, but the disappointment came with the overall condition. Very slow greens, lots of brown patches and areas needing mowing. It doesn't begin to live up to what one would expect at a Ritz Carlton. Condition was what one might expect... More

Now I must say, hit hit all but one fairway, not a usual event for my game. My second shots were great several on the green or in front (two over the green). Now the greens are very hard to putt. Like walking on the foothills of the Mountains in the area. We had a deal price in August, so... More

There were probably rattlesnakes too, but we didn't see (hear) any. When we were dropped off at the course at 5:30 AM for our 6AM tee time, there were deer in the parking lot. A Gila Monster crossed the road and vanished into its lair. OK, so I'm not the world's best golfer, but love being in nature, especially being... More

Have been here for three days with my sister and am feeling so blessed and pampered. Staff have smiling faces and are always 2 steps ahead of your every need. Spent the day at the spa pool with a great lunch and wonderful massage. CORE dinner al fresco with mountains as a backdrop was so special. Morning hike and the... More

We had a great time playing late season golf at this excellent, Jack Nicklaus designed layout. We played the Wild Burro and Tortolita nines. There's another called Saguaro. These courses were very well maintained and the greens are devilishly tough. All the par 4 & 5 holes are relatively easy driving holes, with wide landing areas. However, the arroyos, bunkers,... I was really let down by this place . First, even thought we,got there 15 minutes early we where told we had too tee off right away with no warm up because some members where waiting too tee off. The course is not in very good shape, and if your not a low handicapper you will not enjoy this track. No wounded... More

The course is in a amazing shape. The greens weren't the typical 11's they normally run but still fast enough. The fairways and tee boxes were in amazing shape as well. Love playing this course and the prices are coming down in the summer. Play early and often in the summer!

We played Saguaro and Wild Burro twice over the past few days. Lovely course. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Several of the par 4's and 5's were "cart path only", so we got our steps in. All in all, it was great golf and we look forward to coming back.

Beautiful course in mint condition. Amazing layout. Very difficult for the average golfer ( like me ). Saguaros everywhere and the natural landscape is incredible. Quail, rabbits, coyotes all around you.

So enjoyed the Course from the vistas to the challenging holes. Always nice when you start Bogey Par, Par, Par Par! The personal were ever so helpful. The vistas form 5 thru 9 were fabulous. Went back a few days later to catch the sunset and light fare at Caytons grill. So very nice.
