The two covered markets are open 6 days a week and on a Saturday you also have the local outside market. Just wander the stalls which are a splash of colour, smells and noise and enjoy mixing with the local people going about their life.
This is a real market, with fabulous produce at reasonable prices. Luckily we had an apartment when we stayed in Olhao, so we were able to sample some of the produce, including beautiful fresh strawberries, melons etc. we also couldn’t resist the fresh tuna, which...More

There are a few clothes shoes and bags at Saturday market but mostly fruit and veg it’s not a very good one really .the main market halls are on all week in the mornings with one of them being the fish market and the other one fruit . the better markets are at quarteira on Wednesday and loule on Saturday mornings hope this helps
