Wine tasting

We had a great afternoon wine tasting here. 50 rams for 6 wines which was refunded on purchasing 2 bottles of wine. We didn't eat but the lunches looked great!

Simonsig was very busy on the day that we visited. Consequently it was extremely noisy which did nothing for the atmosphere. Inside, the tables were pleasantly laid out and our guide served us and delivered information on the wines personally. There was a very good selection of wine from which to choose the six that we wanted to taste. Price... More

SimonSig is a nice place and has good and excellent wines. At our visit for wine tasting where we tasted a selection of five wines the site was rather crowded with several noisy groupes which disturbed the full experience of the wine tasting. The servants did their best I suppose, but also they seemed to be disturbed by the different... More

We enjoyed every moment of this tasting experience because the selection and quality was so fine! It was great fun to see the opening of the champagne with a sabre too! Beautiful courtyard, very good service and wine explanations: not to be missed.

Super afternoon at Simonsig, tried all the MCC and decided we preferred the Kaapse Vonke. The wine tasting was first class but not all was to my expectations. Booked a table for lunch..... first class, fresh Tuna, it was superb.... The wine tasting was very busy, obviously a popular wine yard......We loved it ....

I was out to try MCC's and Simonsig had a tasting with 3 of them. If MCC's are your thing you should definitely go here.

After reading lots of reviews about this place and the deciding to go on there content,I must say it was disappointing. I did the wine tasting in the small courtyard but there was no interaction as she could not wait to tell us about the wine and disappeared,it was told just from memory. We had lunch ( booked) and sat... More

Having visited many restaurants in the wine lands this has got to be one of the best. Our Waitress whose name I think was Dee was so friendly and pleasant. The food was excellent, the salads looked wonderful and didn't disappoint on taste. You need to go, you won't be disappointed.

The service a\was good, and the setting very nice and there were a lot of people and small and large groups. When you order steak, that is what you get - steak alone on a large plate and a small bowl with it. If you order a hamburger, that is what you get, no chips. We ordered fish and we... More
