Fun experience watching the little creatures in action. The bonus was seeing other animals on the reserve.

We pre-booked this trip before starting our holiday, but the trip had been over-booked (apparently a regular occurrence) so there were 24 of us in total. However, that wasn't a problem, as the guides took good care to make sure everyone was able to get a good view of the meerkats - you sit in seats and are asked not... More

We had to get up early, drove to meet the tour guides who led us a few kms down to road and into an open area off the main road for a cuppa. It was quite cool and we were led along into the grassland for a few hundred metres where the lads set us up on folding chairs to... More

We were a small group, and the meerkats where spooked the day – but o when they came out. These animals are adorable and the antics are too cute. Devey and his son have a lot of knowledge and share this on the tour, it is great to learn this about one of the shy five.

An amazing experience!!! They lived up to their promises, the crew were amazing, things they taught us were actually astounding, considering I’m in my 30’s and didn’t know half of it!  It was really a dream that came true for my parents, we took amazing pictures and as a family have stunning memories! We received pictures from Devey and... More

Was an absolute waste of money. Don't go. Got up early to stand around listening to a cowboy wannabe ramble on about behavioral traits. It's hard to see where the astronomical attendance fee goes.

Book in advance to make sure you get on the tour. Even in winter it is busy. It was well worth the early start. We enjoyed the coffee stop before the walk to the burrows. There was a lot of chatting and getting to know more about the work being done. Once we got to the burrows we weren't there... More

To watch Meerkats in their natural habitat is simply wow ! especially for first-timers like me... JD and his brother are nice guides, very informative with sound knowledge of what they are up-to. It's a pleasant set-up where you are seated in semi-circle with the sun on your back.. The meerkat wait is not made felt so long with anecdotes,... More

Let's start with the negatives... It's a very early wake up! (6:30 start for us, as early as 5am in the peak summer days). However, it is well worth the early rise! We drove to a nearby meeting point and were escorted to a car park near the meerkats home. Following a coffee/tea and some rusk and the opportunity to... More

We met up at 6.30am, had a cup of coffee and snack and was given a camping chair. The sun started to rise and we set off in search of meerkats. We all (16 of us) sat in a semi circle around a burrow and waited. The sun was on our backs, it was so peaceful just hearing the sounds... More
