Love walking along this beach! Takes all the stresses of the day away. The swimming bay is safe and in high season they have life guards. It does get busy so get there early especially if you want to get parking.

Nice place to take pictures. Great view of the mountain and the sea. Relaxing moments and you can have a small walk on the beach.

Lovely beach, with beach restaurant and some surfing locals. Visitors from afar will probably notice the shark attack kit by the car park....certainly different! Still had a great swim in the sea!

Such a magnificent sheltered bay with a real holiday feel. There is a little local cafe for a bite to eat or something to drink. The beach has life guards on duty.

We cycled in from the Cape Nature Reserve at Goukamma for lunch - half way along the road Buffelsbay looks like it is hanging onto the rocks and will plunge into the sea - which thankfully is an illusion. This charming little village appeared when...More
