Liked: world class course, views across the bay, excellent layout and all round great course Disliked: Extremely slow players. We got stuck behind 3 groups of 4 players who were incredibly slow. nearly 6 hours for 18 holes. They were definitely out to make a whole day of it.

Stunning views and wonderful facilities and half way house. Carts available and necessary. Flowers and birds in abundance.

I have played golf at Simola at least half a dozen times and can honestly say it ranks as one of my favourites. The second hole tee box definitely gives one an amazing view of the fairway some 150meters below and is but one of the many feature holes on the course. The club house is plush and offers beautiful... More

This golf course is very scenic, fun to play, and challenging enough. However, the price is steep. R720-00 for 18 holes. It includes your halfway meal, and a cart. Still, it's pricey. The restaurant is good, and the service is good too. Eat outside at the pool if the weather permits, the view is exceptional.

The course is stunningly pretty and a real test. You need buggies as walks from green to tee can be long and hilly. Beautiful condition despite some heavy rain before we played. Accommodation in the lodges is luxurious.

Very interesting course. Not too easy. Good halfway house. Don´t forget to reserve a cart. You will need it.

I have a fractional ownership here and I would say I am a little bias, but I am not !! Its without doubt one of the nicest, well-manicured courses on the Garden Route, a must play !! It’s a little pricey compared with some if you’re not South African affiliated. The club house is good with Minky being the star... More

Book here for dinner and enjoy sunset views from the balcony. The food was good though not exceptional but the views make up for any shortfall of the limited menu

Fantastic views, well kept, and can't wait to have another go at it. Must have a buggy, for the massive vertical height differences and long walk between holes.
