Although peaceful, the water was awful. Take enough bottled water with for drinking etc. The place generally is not well kept but then again the cottage was ok to live comfortably. Although it's advertised as vegan and to be respected at that, why advertise as self-catering??? However we did not braai openly but bought our food in Knysna and ate... More

A guide takes you along a trial of around three to four kilometers around the huge area covering the monkey land and introduces you to a variety of monkeys. Save money by taking a combo ticket for Birds of Eden and Monkeyland together

What was supposed to be a long weekend break of spoiling ourselves and good old friends at a tented camp (Forest Tents) , turned out to be a disappointing weekend of doing everything else in the surrounding area, to help us forget (if only for a few hours) where we are staying. The internet impression that you get, is far... More

Small walk with absolutely amazing scenery. Great to stretch the legs of passing by. Mostly shaded and a comfortable easy walk.

Beautiful, clean and so quiet there. Just what you need to break away from the noise of city living.

Peace of Eden advertises itself as a rustic and tranquil getaway - which it most certainly is, however, it is not just free bush that campers just park on, it is marketed as an 'Eco Vegetarian Forest Retreat'..........and as such I expected some degree of interaction with the management of the place! My partner and I got there after dark,... More

Peaceful location, apart from the monkeys. One toilet, not with sink, for at least 6 tents, one with many people inside. The sink was in the shower room only. Only one shower for all the tents. Thankfully I didn't go to the toilet at the time in the morning when everyone was queueing for the shower, otherwise wouldn't have been... More

Had a short stay, but there was nothing to dislike. Peaceful surroundings and comfortable cabin. Ideal for a break away from the rat race.
