Could not believe the amount of cigarette butts on the beach , literally thousands . The kids being kids dog in the sand and come back smelling like an ashtray.

Too cold right now but beautiful views
Sep 2020
I'd love to be here in summer when the beaches are at their hottest. The views here are magnificent. The only thing is that it is too cold now (snowing on Table Mountain only a couple of days ago). Otherwise a great place to spend the day sightseeing.

Clifton Beach #4
Mar 2020
Clifton beach was a great place to visit. We were sheltered from the winds, and the beach was clean. There were people there who were cleaning up garbage, and keeping the place nice looking. Umbrellas were $50 Rand, which I thought was quite reasonable. There were people selling drinks, ice cream, and various trinkets. Gomez was one of the locals that we met who gave us some good advise on places to shop and eat. He had some beautiful bracelets and necklaces that he had made. He was in no way pushy, did not ask us for anything, and gave me bracelet at no charge. I give it a 10/10

On of my favourite beaches
Feb 2020
Great beaches in picturesque Clifton. Divides in 4 different beaches. Steep stairs at different locations lead the way up and down. If only the water would be a bit warrmer;-)

Beautiful Area
Feb 2020
We were told this is the Beverly HIlls of Capetown. This area, is another region where it doesn't feel like the rest of the African continent. Is that good or bad? Made me feel a little guilty.

4 great beaches
Feb 2020
The beaches are beautiful, clean, were not busy during our visit and there is little to distract you from just relaxing as the bars and restaurants are in Camps Bay not Clifton.

Great views, turquoise sea and white sand. Parking near by. Worth a visit and you get a goos sunset too.

Great beach to forget life on
Feb 2020
An easy, cheap Uber ride from anywhere in Cape Town, the beach (4) is run by a group of local guys. They press a sunbed on you, okay, but it's a few pounds, and they run a smooth and unobtrusive operation for the rest of the day. Nowhere to eat, so it's the snack and soft drinks bar or nothing. But there are other beaches if you want more life. This one is for winding down and clearing the mind.

Four options, all great
Feb 2020 • Friends
Great beaches, no food except from some vendors selling chips and drinks out of coolers. Water is ice cold but the sand is so soft it squeaks between your toes.
