7 of us went for the weekend and seats where in the sun for 6hours+. We loved every moment of being there but will book other seats than the ones we where sunburnt in! Beer tents, food trucks etc where so much better than last year. Had an amazing weekend!

Like the Great Wall of China, the stadium can be spotted by visiting Martians looking for a landing spot. This oversized superbowl was plonked in Greenpoint by order of the obnoxious FIFA so that it could advertise the 2010 World Cup tournament. Now no-one really wants to use it except concert and political rally organisers. Brilliantly designed and well served... More

Great iconic stadium, with organisational shortfalls. Traffic was impossible, and although they laid on free buses, getting to them was impossible. Inside the security and Marshall staff dont know their way around the stadium so are useless in terms of assisting with directions. But Saru put on an unforgettable show and the Blizbokke were fantastic.

I have been to a few stadium in my life and this one is right up there. Visited for the HSBC 7's rugby tournament. They ironed out most of prior niggly concerns eg flow of food and drink stand. Parking at nearby V&A Waterfront quick and easy. Or take the MyCity bus from various points across the City center. Flow... More

I missed the 2010 soccer World Cup here so took the opportunity to watch the World Rugby Sevens here in December 2016. It still looks cool, a very modern design and the access from the V&A Waterfront parking an easy short walk. The admission process was efficient and finding seats easy with plenty lf stewards if needed. Although our seats... More

We visited the stadium and where impressed by its cool design and sheer size. The area around the stadium is very spacious with lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

World Rugby 7's Cup ... It was amazing. Stadium was full. The supporters were amazing and cheerful. Great saturday !! Nice, modern, comfortable stadium. If you wanna see a soccer game, it will cost you around R40 ... Pretty cheap.

The Cape Town stadium is a world class facility and was built specifically for the 2010 Soccer World Cup and hosted 8 matches. Since then it has been used for International Music concerts and soccer and rugby matches. The stadium has a seating capacity of 55 000 but more seats can be added if necessary. It's easy to access by... More

The stadium is really huge and a great attraction for a football lover. Luckily I got to visit it at the the time of construction and recently too. It was a good experience.

This is one of the most beautiful stadia that South Africa invested in as part of the World Cup infrastructure. It stands out and has amazing facilities beyond football/soccer. The Cape Argus Cycle Tour ends at same and some duathlon's start from here.
