Would I use the company again? Yes We undertook a private peninsula tour which was a great experience, undertaken with a professional company. The driver was friendly and factual and unlike other tours, we had a say as to where we went and what we did, which was much better than a group tour.

We did the full day Cape and coastal tour. There were 12 of us in the coach. I felt there should have been a driver as well as a guide rather than having one person doing both which seemed pretty stingy to me. We were also not advised that there would be no water on the bus so we were... More

Cornelia was guide. She was lovely. The trip to the Game Reserve was smooth but long! Cornelia kept up her lively commentary the entire trip to make sure we didnt miss out on amazing scenery.

The tour started at District 6 museum where we learned about the relocation of people under the apartheid regime. Then on to Langa (township) where we walked, talked, interacted with local people. We visited their homes, drank some local hooch, attended a kintergarten and generally learned about the way these local people are improving their lives. It was truly inspirational... More

I really enjoyed this trip - we had a lovely guide called Gina, who was excellent. She coped very well giving the tour in 2 languages (English and French) and with a couple of tricky customers. We visited Camps Bay, Chapman's Peak drive, Hout Bay, Boulders Beach, Cape of Good Hope, Simon's Town and Kirstenbosch Botantical Gardens. I enjoyed all... More

Having spent 990ZAR on a full day's wine tour - my friends and I were extremely disappointed with both the level of service and locations visited. Despite being recommend this via the V&A waterfront information desk, this tour was the worst we embarked on during our time in Cape Town. Having been told we would sample a minimum of 12... More

We took advantage of a free day and headed out to the main wine district of Cape Town. Our driver/guide was maxwell. Very knowledgable and friendly. I would say courteous professionalism. The area is beautiful and we had great weather. Being a half day tour we visited two spectacular wineries where we were treated to some educational wine tasting. We... More

We visited Camps Bay, Chapman's Peak drive, Hout Bay, Boulders Beach, Cape of Good Hope, Simons Town and Kirstenbosch Botantical Gardens. We enjoyed most of it but we're glad we didn't go out to the optional Seal Island boat trip as it was very rough and don't think it's much of an island, enjoyed wandering round Hout Bay harbour and... African Eagle Day tours did a fantastic job in organizing our whole holiday in Cape Peninsula: booking airport transfers, hotels, also two days safari and several one day drips. We felt well looked after in the unfamiliar country, the guides made our experience comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

During our recent two week stay in Cape Town my wife and I had two separate tours with this company. The Wine Tour led by Paul Hofman and The Peninsula Tour led by Chris. It was really easy to book the tours via the Hotel Guest Relations officers and the mini bus picked you up and dropped you off at... More
