The Old Biscuit Mill reminds me me of an area of head-shops from the 1960s. Some very nice, unique stores, but some others as well. Several nice restaurants but they are all overpriced compared to other Cape Town places. If you are in the area...More

A delightful experience to stop up this eclectic place. We didn't buy much, but certainly enjoyed our lunch at Redemption and the ambiance.

Lucky to be visiting CT on a Saturday. Great variety of locally made foods from different vendors, both "take out" and produce to take home. Variety of little shops selling anything from wine and coffee, to art, furniture, gifts and the Woodstock Gin Company. Would...More

Went back again last Sunday. There was a huge artisan food market in the car park. The selection of food was fantastic with many different stalls packed side by side. So much to choose from . Really mind boggling. The hand made craft section was...More

Old Biscuit Mill is a nice place, kinda hippie, but you don't have so many things to do here. Some shops and some restaurants. I was there on a Monday, during lunch, and it was quite empty. I guess on a Saturday it's more lively....More

We visited the Old Biscuit Mill on a cold winter's day, keen to see what the rave and good press were all about. Unfortunately we did not pick a market day (I believe this adds a lot more buzz to the establishment). We could however...More

There's a lot of talk in Cape Town about The Old Biscuit Mill, but I wish I did my research on what they offer before I went there; the offering is a bit meagre (browsing will not keep you busy for more than 45 minutes)...More

Cute place but it's not central so it's hard to get a cab back into town. There really wasn't much to do here. We did have a nice lunch but then we just wandered around a few blocks till we could catch a cab.

It is kind of a small shopping area with some restaurants and some shops. So if that's what you want to visit it could be good. But you better go to waterfront which is lot bigger and more animated.

I saw that you already received the same "answer" - I don't know. I was only at the market one day (went twice - morning and afternoon) but did not use Wi-Fi. BUT, since there are so many vendors and also little stores and... More

The old biscuit mill and our deli are open Monday to Saturday. The market is only on the Saturday morning.
