The last time I was in the cape quarter was about 3 years ago, and I remember it as a terribly confusing place where I got totally lost! The have revamped it and is now so much better. Threre are two nice restaurants on the piazza (Bootleggers got great coffee). Also cool shops like Nap, and Spitfire. The Spar is... More

As we were staying near by in a loft apartment it was handy to stock up on things, large spar super market with a hardware department upstairs as well as a pharmacie in store. There in also a drinks shop across from the store to fill up on wines, spirits and beer, As well as a few cafe and restaurant... More

We stayed in the Grey Hotel around the corner and we loved it. It is small with a lovely court yard on the inside with a great coffee shop, Bootleggers and other cool decor shops. Across the street at the back it extends in the Cape Quarter Piazza also with some cool shops, like Africa Nova. Great Spar supermarket inside.

I don't think this Mall ever hit off the ground. Just too many open shops and they change all the time. If it weren't for Spar, I probably wouldn't go there as a destination. There is nothing which draws me to it except convenience of the Spar. Agreed, there is the odd speciality shop, but nothing one wouldn't get at... More

Lovely little mall with the beautiful African Nova shop, in the old section. Also don't miss La Petit Tarte and the gift shop next to them. The new section has a great coffee shop called Bootleggers and a good Spar and also some shops like Nap. The De Waterkant neighbourhood is a beautiful little neighbourhood to stroll around. Very upmarket... More

Don't miss the smaller Cape Quarter Piazza which is at the back of the bigger Piazza. Corner of Dixon/De Waterkant Streets. There is a nice Lindt chocolate store, Africa... More
