Stayed in Camps Bay for 5 days and loved this beach for its stunning views and backdrop of the 12 apostles mountain range. Best beach in the Cape Town area.

Relax, eat, drink, shop or what ever you want. Brings reality back by putting your toe in the sea..... it's cold. The atmosphere makes up for the cold. Fantastic time spent there.

Camps Bay has a long sandy beach. Across the road is a whole stretch of hotels, restaurants and bars. The place is alive and very popular. Parking can be a problem but be patient, use can use the sports field for 50 rand. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Yes its a nice beach, but the elephant in the room here, is the glacial temperature of the sea - no matter what time of year!. A great beach in my view has to have the combination of sea and sand - Its so frustrating here to have lying baking in the sun longing for a dip in the sea... More

Camps Bay is a delightful place to visit. Great view of Table Mountain and the 12 apostles. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Easy to get to on local transport from Cape Town or by car and easy parking. Sit in a bar and watch the world go by.

Had a great time at Camp's Bay beach, however the water is bloody freezing, even for a Scottish man. Two lingers and an umbrella cost 190R and drinks from the venders at 25R each... all in all a fantastic beach but the tide comes in quickly so base yourself at the top.

Camps Bay Beach is a wonderful wide stretch of beautiful, scenic beach. Soft powdery beach sand, natural rock pools and freezing sea water! On certain demarcated sections of the beach dogs ARE allowed so this makes it popular with casual walkers and joggers. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be hired for a fee for the day. There is a vibe about... More

This is truly the best beach you can't swim at due to the icy Atlantic Ocean. However, it is perfect for tanning! An amazing views of Lion's Head and the Twelve Apostles! A clean and safe beach to spend the day at. Now and then they have volleyball matches and other sports events happening there. There are lots of coffee... More
