We did this as part of a tour. So beautiful! Definitely needs more to be done if you visit Cape Town! Very windy roads though so be prepared for that.

Toured the Cape Peninsula by car. Drove south from Cape Town to Cape of Good Hope on the Atlantic Ocean side and then back up on the Indian Ocean side. Chapman's Peak was one of the highlights of the drive. Stunning views of Hout Bay....More

During our trip along Chapman's Peak we saw the most beautiful coast I've ever seen. The water is a blue turquoise and the rugged rocky shoreline make a beautiful scene. There were horseback riders down on the beach enjoying the beauty. There is a toll...More

A fantastic coastal road which winds around the sheer cliffs of the cape. The views are phenomenal and there are a number of lay by or stop off areas where you can pull over to take a photo. Highly recommended.

One of the best sights in Cape Town. A winding road that goes through a mountain with beautiful views surrounding it. The road is closed during bad weather but it’s a definitely for everyone that loves nature.

I have driven the Chapman's Peak Drive many times and ran the Two Oceans Marathon five times, but returning after several years I was surprised that it's a toll road now. The toll is R45 one way, R90 if you drive all the way through...More
