We took a estuary trip on a boat mid morning and there was a fair amount of wildlife to see, the guide was informative but the service on the boat lacked.

Me and my family staid at St. Lucia for 4 nights. The place is beautiful, has a good weather and many activities options. I went to Cape Vidal Beach (33Km from there), I did the Hippo and Croc Cruise (departs from St Lucia) and I went to Imfolosi Game Reserve (55km from there). I would recommend this place!

Superb tour on a boat with our very knowledgeable tour guide, Stacey from Heritage Tours and Safaris. We saw so many hippos and crocodiles and even a shark attacking a fish! Lucky sightings. We learnt so much of this amazing Estuary. Just hope for loads of rain!

We did a breakfast cruise on the estuary. We had great weather and were lucky to see fish eagles fishing, plenty of hippo, crocodiles and a variety of bird life. We used Shakabarker tours and would recommend them for great personalised service.

Excellent tour. Excellent sightings. Excellent tour guides We saw hippos in abundance. A few crocs and some excellent birds life which the guides knew a lot about. There were drinks and snacks sold on board at a reasonable price. The boats are in need of some upgrading but the rates are reasonable and upgrades on parks board boats = higher... More

Mother Nature conspired against us here - high winds meant we couldn't get on the water for two days and we ran out of time to wait. There is also a drought so water and sightings very distant. Would love to come back when the weather is right and drought is over. Just bad timing for us! Stayed at The... More

What an amazing place to see hippos, crocs, sharks, eagles and other wildlife. Make sure you use sureties as they have the smallest boats and can get in close.
