This estuary is part of the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park and includes fishing, hiking tours, boat tours and a crocodile center. The crocodiles make swimming an ill-advised idea.

The area has boardwalk and sand areas to walk. There was a variety of wildlife from lizards to hippos. Vendors are good, no pushy types.

The St Lucia Estuary is rich with flora and fauna, beaches are near and not so easy to access, hence quite. Roads are well maintained and you will see many animals.

We took a boat ride on the St. Lucia Estuary and were able to see many Hippopotami and crocodiles as we cruised along.
