Another fantastic trip to Kruger National Park with Bearded Heron Safaris. Our 2 week safari started in the north at Punda Maria and we wended our way to the south, ending at Berg en Dal. Such a contrast to our visit 12 months ago when the park was in the midst of a severe drought. This time the vegetation was... More

Self drive safari in Kruger National Park was the best experience ever. I have never seen so many animals so close. We were very lucky (or it is common thing in Kruger) to see groups of elephants, zebras, rhinos, buffaloes and many more with babies. Accommodation in the park is basic but comfortable. Views are breathtaking. Restaurants are nice and... More

We were a group of 3 couples travelling throughout Kruger Park. All together we spent 8 nights in 3 different locations within the Park. We saw all of the Big 5 and so much more. We didn't realize that we would enjoy all the animals from big to small, insects, birds and even the trees. We saw sunrises and sunsets... More

It is a very big park and you drive only on the roads. Animals hide in the shadow så if you are unlucky you don´t se so much. Tshukudu big five game reserve is privat own and they go off-road and you get more value for the money

I have viited Kruger National Park on many occasions. It remains unique in the world. Don't go to look for the "Big 5" only. Read more about the entire ecology, all the animals and plants, everything about the park. It will help you to enjoy more of it, appreciate its beauty. It is a treasure trove and should have been... We booked both the sunrise and sunset drives. Very chilly due to the open vehicle and cold winds. It's just in your luck if you find the big 5. We got lucky enough to see 3 out of the 5. The Buffalo, Elephant and Lion. Elephants walked across our vehicle and lions were asleep on the road. Great natural landscape... More

Always worthy of a visit. Can Kruger please get an I.T. specialist to improve the entry system to work the gates when it is busy. Even with a prebooking for a day visit we queued for an hour at 6 am. at Phabeni Gate. There was only one boom working and people were scurrying this way and that unsure of... More

The Big 5 are the 5 biggest game animals in Africa, namely the African Lion, African Elephant, Cape Buffalo, African Leopard, and Rhinoceros. We were lucky to have been able to see 4 of the 5 (we did not see the leopard) over the 3D2N package we booked through Siyabona Africa Travels (a booking engine and tour operator operating in... Went to the Kruger Park for the day. Was lucky enough to see four of the BIG 5. Beside seeing the lions, elephants, buffalos and rhinos, we also saw giraffes, wildebeest, zebras, baboons, monkeys, impalas, antelopes and lots of bird species. A few places to stop for refreshments etc. A great unforgettable experience.

I visit the Kruger at least once a year. I love the feeling I get when I am inside! Definitely spend a full day here if you go!
