The scenic shoreline of Lake Havasu State Park is an ideal place to enjoy beautiful beaches, nature trails, boat ramps, and convenient campsites. This spot is truly a watersport haven located near the famous London Bridge of Lake Havasu City. The park offers three boat ramps, 47 campsites, a special events area (not available on holiday weekends), picnic area, and beach area. The Mohave Sunset Trail (1.75 miles) winds its way through the lowland desert and along the shoreline. The Arroyo-Camino Interpretive Garden showcases the diverse life that exists within the park and this area of the desert. Birds, lizards, and desert cottontails are common sights.

Nice large sites, no sewer but there is a dump station. Most sites are close to the water. Not much shade so avoid the hot summer months. We are visiting in August and they are having excessive heat warnings so it is very hot! Nice...More

The only thing about this place is this. Do not go to this area in the Summer unless you really like the heat. Yes its a dry heat and all that nonsense. But it still gets might warm here. The other is avoid it during...More

Absolutely the worst experience ever, racism at its finest. I have never been so harassed in my life. I am not sure if they changed the rangers or if we just got the bottom of the barrel staff this weekend but needless to say it...More

Worst vacation ever, we came there to have a great time with the family and friends. The rangers were being dick heads, policing us every five min. Making us feel very uncomfortable. In addition we got kick out all because some campers where having issues...More

We launched at the new Windsor 4 ramp in the state park. The staff were fantastic on this crazy crowded Memorial Day weekend. They guided traffic perfectly, managed the ramp and even had golf carts going back and forth to the parking area. Wow.

I came late afternoon and price for the entrance kind of shocked me. I didn't expect to be so high especially that next door on the island you can park your car for free and enjoy prime beach location.

We were not able to stand the smell at this area as if some animal or specie is going rotten, pretty smelly which causes you vomit. It was burning hot, too that day. Make sure to drink lots of water. We were lucky to come...More

Where we stay was for camping. However, they do have a day area for picnic and gatherings at the north end of park.

There are coyotes in the area. I see them early in the morning. The camping sites are well patrolled and monitored by fish and game. You should be ok

Thanks for your question. While there is abundant wildlife in and around the parks, we don't have issues with coyotes, snakes or other "vermin" in the camping areas. The areas around the park may feature Wild Burros, Big... More
