Decent overview of Durban

This tour gives you a good overview of Durban. I think you get to see most of the major sites. The tour had a stop in the middle of the tour, which I thought was a waste of time... read more

This tour gives you a good overview of Durban. I think you get to see most of the major sites. The tour had a stop in the middle of the tour, which I thought was a waste of time. Ride on the upper deck, better views.

My family made a booking of 23 people which include children. The tour guide was arrogant and not child friendly. He rudely shouted on the mic "Shut The conversation down". When i approached him and calmly spoke to him he shouted to me that I knew the rules and was told that "You people cause it for everyone" and walked... More

The Durban Rickshaw Bus operate twice daily starting at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The tour covers all the important areas and landmarks of the city. The 30 minutes break at the 1st stop for facility and the 10 minutes at the 2nd stop for photo opportunity are useful however not the same as hop-on/hop-off where ones can explore further... More

Nice tour around the city, I would strongly recommend it if you are not hiring a car. The only thing that I didn't like is that there was a 30' stop in a not very stylish shopping center, I totally found this stop unnecessary. Besides that it is an excellent way to visit the city.

We had a very knowledgeable guide and hit most of the major sights in Durbs. My only complaint is that the bus drove by some things pretty quickly, so it was hard to get pictures. I thought it was well worth 3 hours of my time.

Don't expect Red/Blue Bus Tour in Durban! This was a useful tour of a city I don't know well, and recommended as the first thing you do if you have a few days in Durban. It gave us ideas on what to book for during our stay. There is no depth to the (friendly) guide's commentary, just a very shallow... More

It's a very good experience if you go to Durban. The service is more simpler than the usual Red Bus Sightseeing, common all over the world, including Cape Town and Johannesburg in SA (so the price is more cheaper). It's a 3 hour guided tour, in which we had a good glimpse of all the important places near the city... More

The tour of the city was very interesting, covering the history and modern day Durban. Unfortunately the audio system on the bus was very poor, so the tour guide's commentary was inaudible for the whole tour, which reduced the enjoyment and value of the experience.

This was very good value. The tour took in all the sights, and had a very informative guide who talked well about all the buildings etc. There were two stops, once at the Cube sculpture which gives a fantastic view over the whole city, and once at a shopping Mall, which was not very exciting, but was a good opportunity...
