Some beautiful architecture but the whole square was being dug up and re-paved/re-planted when we visited so probably didn't see it at it's best.

I have been to Church Square before, in 2002, and it was fine then, but I was quite shocked at the state of it now. To be fair, the whole area, including the road around it, is undergoing massive renovation works, so it’s a bit...More

The square and the surrounding streets are under renovation so it is impossible to reach or pass them by car. The place is very crowded so we just took a look and drove on.

Sadly this beautiful square is no longer worth visiting. Such a pity because it has beautiful old buildings full of history. In summer when the grass is green it would be lovely if not for the locals leaving litter everywhere. There is no safe parking...More

Great Place, full of students, at the Moment completely dug up, full of heavy machinery moving around..Plus very dusty and noisy, but when renovated i could imagine spending some more time there.

Finding parking may take you a while as downtown PTA is congested. Once you get in on foot, the square itself is for pedestrians or the occasional bus. Sadly, at the moment it is not ideal to visit because of a lot of construction going...More

As such the square has nice building from a long time gone. For us, it was a kind of creepy experience as we were harassed by persons clearly under influence. Nobody seems to care what was happening, which made the visit a bit creepy.
