The whole family enjoys the mystery of God's creation 60m below the surface. Excellent guides and safe trip for all. Just be prepared for the climb up the stairs at the end (it's not as bad as it sounds!)

Not to be missed in the Lion and Rhino Park. This is one of those hidden gems that few people know about. 80 Steps down which is not too bad but could be a challenge coming back but believe me it's worth the effort.

We wanted a half day activity reasonably close to Johannesburg away from the city. The site is in Krugersdorp. The roads are good all the way and sited in a game farm. Cost as of Dec 2016 was R100 per person card only. There are steep steps (about 50) down to an elevator which takes you into the cavern. We... More

A nice outing for the weekend, especially for the nature buffs. A short tour underground with a little bit of history. The tour guys are quite entertaining and make the trip fun.

Fascinating tale of miner's exploits allowing for a good understanding of the conditions and hardships they faced. Well worth a look.

Stunning natural beauty. A knowledgeable tour guide with so much insight. A great one hour tour of the cave that can be followed with a drive through the nature reserve to spot the wild life.

this is a cave just under the earth's fault line which runs next to the rhino and lions park. It is definitely worth visit if in the park. The stalagmites / stalactites are beautiful, although a lot of the limestone was taken out by miners at the beginning of previous century.

The Wonder Caves are a private cave system on land adjacent to the Rhino & Lion Reserve in the Craddle of Humankind. It is worth doing as part of your visit to the Rhino & Lion Reserve as you can get a combined discounted ticket. Otherwise it is a long way to come just to look at some caves. The... More
