I really enjoyed my visit to the L Ron Hubbard house. It's recognized for the view and housing L Ron Hubbard at a critical point where change was pushed in South Africa to achieve freedom. Puneet, the museum manager, is well informed and provides an entertaining experience.

Ron Hubbard stayed in south Africa for a while at the height of apartheid when most people of conscience stayed away. For some reason, they scientologists are trying to make the rather undistinguished house where he stayed into a museum - although they do not have planning permission to do this; the apprently think that scientologists are not bound by... L. Ron Hubbard is a very interesting person and led a fascinating life. This is probably of most interest to Scientologists, but anyone who would like to know more about Hubbard will leave more educated about him as a person. When I went, there were some Scientologists being toured as well as some people who weren't Scientologists and all seemed... More

The architecture and some of the design details are very interesting and the view is incredible. A lot of effort has been put in restoring his home... More

Why go see a house like this? Your entire visit is spend avoiding recruitment. They are relentless, all the materials are about an American. Unless you enjoy talking with brainwashed salesmen give this a miss.

it was a revelation to find out, through a very inspiring tour, what L Ron Hubbard did in his life and how he contributed to a better society. His work in so many fields is admirable and the tour is an eye opener.

Dont like what he represents and the house was too staid and very tricky in the fact that it suggested positive things to force you to be part of them.
