Apartheid was such a terrible time, and this museum has managed to capture that. however, it's important to know what happened in South Africa, and one can only hope that things improve.

The location is close to the city of Johannesburg. Parking is available and please do take the guided tour if possible. The history captured and evidenced with artifacts is truly amazing. To think that this was in my lifetime is crazy. The history is very...More

Very good museum that covers the entire history of apartheid well. Our only complaint was that the layout is confusing and there was no running water in the bathrooms!

This is a must go attraction if you want to get a deep knowledge of Apartheid. There was a Mandela exhibition that really makes me understand the importance of his leadership and altruism to the South African people.

We spent a very interesting hor at the Apartheid Museum. The grounds and buildings are vast and we should have set aside much more time. A very detailed and provocative insight into the history and fall of apartheid. A must in JoBurg.
